J. Kristopher White Practice Areas: Born: College: Law School: Membership: Admissions: Biography: Kris is a native of North Mississippi. Following law school, he returned home to the Tupelo area where he began his litigation practice. However, when our country went to war in 2003, Kris accepted a commission as an officer in the United States Air Force, where he served as a prosecutor in the Judge Advocate General's Corp until 2006. While on active duty, Kris won numerous awards and accolades, to include the outstanding trial advocacy award. After separating from active duty, Kris maintained his affiliation with the Air Force by joining the Mississippi Air National Guard. Currently Kris is the deputy staff judge advocate for the 172nd Air Lift Wing in Jackson. He currently holds the rank of major. Kris is married to the former Karen Willard of Pontotoc, and they have two daughters, Ivy Cate and Riley.
