Mississippi Workers Compensation Defense

Our firm has over 20 years experience in the area of workers compensation defense representing employers and their insurance carriers and both self-insured employers and self-insured trusts in Mississippi. Our members are frequent lecturers at seminars and workshops on the subject of Mississippi workers compensation from the perspective of the employer and carrier. They are active in the Workers Compensation Section of the Mississippi Bar Association and have served as officers of that Section including one past president.

Depending on the client’s preference, we are typically consulted by claims personnel and employee representatives and asked to provide an evaluation of claims from their inception.

This advice involves matters such as compensability of the claim, appropriate medical care and evaluation of the care provided, the handling of the claim, and ultimately the evaluation of the potential exposure. We welcome the opportunity to work closely with our clients on all aspects of any claim and take pride in the level of communication and information provided to the clients through every stage of a workers compensation claim.
