Biography
Mr. Clayton has more than forty years of experience in business, commercial, construction, contract, estate, trust and insurance litigation. In 2009, he completed the Harvard Negotiation Institute's mediation course and serves as a mediator in addition to his litigation practice. He represents business entities including furniture manufacturing companies and businesses that supply components to furniture manufacturers.
Mr. Clayton was selected by The Mississippi Business Journal as one of 2017's Leaders in Law. He is listed in Best Lawyers in America and Mid-South Super Lawyers®. He is also a member of the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates, where he served as President of the Mississippi Chapter for 2015-2016. Mr. Clayton has served as a Special Justice on the MS Supreme Court and as a member of the Complaints Tribunal of the Mississippi Supreme Court.
